THE TENSE
Tenses is a change in the form of verb. It shows the time of an action or event.
There are three main tenses
1.       Present Tense
2.       Past Tense
3.       Future Tense
Present Tense :  A verb that refers to the state or condition now existing is said to be in the present tense.
EX: Sita sings.
Past Tense :  A verb that refers to what had happened is said to be in the past tense.
EX: Sita sing yester day.
Future Tense : A verb that refers to what will happen said to be in the future tense.
EX: Sita will sing tomorrow.
Each Tense has four sub – Tenses
They are :
1.       Simple Tense.
2.       Continuous Tense .
3.       Perfect Tense.
4.       Perfect continuous Tense.

PRESENT TENSE :
1.       Simple Present Tense : ( SUBJECT+V1+OTHER WORDS )
2.       Present Continuous Tense : ( SUBJECT+IS/AM/ARE+V4(V1+ING)+OTHER WORDS )
3.       Present Perfect Tense : ( SUBJECT+HAVE/HAS+V3+OTHER WORDS )
4.       Present Perfect continuous Tense:(SUBJECT+HAVE/HAS+BEEN+V4(V1+ING)+OTHER WORDS+
Since – To refer point of time such as since Monday, since 2012, since January etc.,
 For- To refer point of time such as for two hours, for three days, for four weeks, for five months etc.,
PAST TENSE :
1.       Simple Past Tense : ( SUBJECT+V2+OTHER WORDS )
2.       Past Continuous Tense : ( SUBJECT+WAS/WERE+V4(V1+ING)+OTHER WORDS )
3.       Past Perfect Tense : ( SUBJECT+HAD+V3+OTHER WORDS+SIMPLE PAST )
4.       Past Perfect continuous Tense:(SUBJECT+HAD+BEEN+V4(V1+ING)+OTHER WORDS )
FUTURE TENSE :
1.       Simple Future Tense : ( SUBJECT+WILL/SHALL+V1+OTHER WORDS )
2.       Past Continuous Tense : ( SUBJECT+WILL BE/SHALL BE+V4(V1+ING)+OTHER WORDS )
3.       Past Perfect Tense : ( SUBJECT+WILL/SHALL+HAVE+V3+OTHER WORDS )
4.       Past Perfect continuous Tense:(SUBJECT+WILL/SHALL+HAVE+BEEN+V4(V1+ING)+OTHER WORDS )
