VERB: A world that expresses an action or event or state of being is called a verb.

VERBAL: related to verbs.

PHRASE: A group of words which have a particular meaning when used together ( which does not give complete seense) and depends on some other word or phrase or clause sentence to give complete sense.

VERBAL PHRASE: If either preposition or adverb or sometimes both together are added either before or after the main verb it is called VERBAL PHRASE.

Example:

Because of working................(in complete) Because of working I am tired (complete)

Inspite of workig hard ............(in complete) Inspite of working hard I am not tired.(complete)

Instead of knowing only present tense verb(V1), past tense verb(V2), past participle(V3), present participle(V4) one should have awreness of verbal phrases.
